Gothenburg's safety-first marque, now most of the way through an electric reinvention: EX30 to EX90 on one side, XC40 to XC90 mild and plug-in hybrids on the other. The lineup splits hard by market, and the UK is the only one of the three that still gets a saloon and a standard estate.

The only saloon on any of the three price lists we track: a low five-door fastback on the same 800-volt thinking as the EX90, up to 680 hp, and absent from both North American price lists.
The estate Volvo still sells in Britain and no longer sells in North America: a low, long wagon with a mild hybrid four or a plug-in hybrid of 335 or 455 hp, and none of the ride height the Cross Country adds.
The only wagon left on the American price list, and the reason Volvo still has a reputation there. A raised, cladded V60 with 247 hp and all-wheel drive as standard.
The last big Volvo estate, and a Canadian exclusive among the three markets we track: Volvo US and Volvo UK do not list it at all. Volvo Canada still has a page for it, but it is off the builder and none shows in its online stock (25 Sept 2026). No direct replacement announced.
The C40 under its new name: the EX40 with the roof dropped into a fastback and a ducktail spoiler. Mechanically the same car. Europe gets the full range; Canada gets one, the Ultra Twin Motor, at C$79,769.
Volvo's smallest car, and quietly its quickest to 100: the 428 hp twin-motor EX30 does it in 3.6 seconds, which is quicker than anything else Volvo sells. A Cross Country version raises it and adds cladding.

The electric XC60 in all but name, and the car Volvo is leading with in 2026. Sits between EX40 and EX90, tops out at 680 hp, and is the volume electric Volvo the brand has been waiting for.
The petrol XC40, still sold alongside the electric EX40 it used to share a name with. A 163 or 197 hp mild hybrid, and the cheapest way into the brand in the UK.
The one every market still lists twice, once as a mild hybrid and once as a plug-in. The EX60 is its replacement, and it is not going anywhere yet.
