BMW M Ignite: F1 ignition tech arrives in the M2, M3, and M4 to keep the S58 alive

BMW M Ignite brings pre-chamber ignition to the S58 inline-six in the M2, M3, and M4. Dual spark plugs per cylinder, flame jets at near-sonic speed, unchanged power figures but lower fuel consumption under load. Production starts July 2026 for M3/M4, August for M2. Europe only for now.
