Bentley has released the latest teaser for the Torcal, its incoming fourth model line, with a focus on two design elements the brand is positioning as the car's signatures: a floating diamond grille and interior displays whose graphics are built from photographed light passing through hand-cut British crystal.
The teaser drop is dated July 27, 2026. The full car will be revealed in London on September 23, 2026.
What Bentley actually said this week
The July 27 release is titled "A century old detail, reimagined for a new generation." It stops short of showing the car in full. What it does show:
- A jewel-like floating diamond grille. Bentley describes it as a "captivating design statement" that reimagines a design cue the brand has carried since the 1920s, when diamond wire mesh first appeared to shield exposed radiators from stones and road debris.
- A diamond motif carried into the tail-light graphics.
- Interior displays authentically created by capturing light passing through British hand-cut crystal. Bentley commissioned the pieces from Cumbria Crystal, the English glassmaker, specifically for this project. The photographed refractions were then used as source imagery for the digital display graphics.
Bentley's stated intent: pull "warmth and humanity" into an otherwise ultra-modern digital cabin by using imperfections that only appear in hand-cut material.
Where the Torcal sits in the range
From Bentley's July 6 naming release:
- The Torcal is the fourth Bentley model line, joining the Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga.
- The name is drawn from El Torcal de Antequera, a limestone landscape of stacked rock formations in Andalusia, Spain.
- The Latin root of the place name is torquere, meaning "to twist" and the origin of the modern word torque.
- Chairman and CEO Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser has called it "the most considered car in our history."
What Bentley has not confirmed yet
The July 27 press pack does not disclose the platform, battery size, output, range, or price. Coverage citing spec sheets and spy photos exists, but none of those figures have been ratified by Bentley itself, so we are not repeating them here. Expect the September 23 London reveal to close that gap.
