McLaren 750S production ends in 2027, and final orders are open now

Order books open on the 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring, if you live in Germany
Order books opened this month on the Porsche 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring, the 100 car market edition Porsche revealed on 14 August 2026 to mark the circuit's hundredth birthday. It is sold in Germany only. White or GT Silver Metallic, a green wrapped front section and rear trim, California Gold forged wheels, a green roll cage and a start number between 0 and 999 on the bonnet, doors and rear window. The Manthey Kit is optional and colour matched. Deliveries run through 2027.
Bugatti after Volkswagen: Rimac has the keys, and the bill
Porsche completed the sale of its 45 per cent of Bugatti Rimac and its stake in Rimac Group on 9 September 2026, taking about 1 billion euros and putting 250 million of it straight into pension obligations. Rimac Group now holds 55 per cent of Bugatti Rimac and a consortium led by HOF Capital holds 45 per cent. Christophe Piochon leaves after two decades and Mate Rimac adds President of Bugatti Automobiles to his titles. The engineering case for this is strong. The financial one is the question nobody has answered.
McLaren is building an SUV, and the engine news buried underneath it matters more
McLaren Automotive confirmed a performance SUV on 16 September 2026, part of a £500m UK investment from L'IMAD, the Abu Dhabi government's investment arm, itself part of a wider £1.5bn commitment over five years. The money buys a second vehicle assembly plant in the UK, at least 1,000 direct and indirect jobs by 2032, and engine and transmission production brought in-house for the first time in the company's history.
