To mark its arrival on the Formula 1 grid in 2026, Cadillac has built something fittingly rare: the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series, limited to just 26 units and unveiled ahead of the Miami Grand Prix.
The most powerful Blackwing yet
The supercharged 6.2-litre V8 has been tuned to 685 hp and 673 lb-ft — up 17 hp and 14 lb-ft on the standard car — via an upgraded supercharger developed with GM Motorsports. That makes this the most powerful Blackwing Cadillac has ever produced. Fittingly for the purists, it's manual-only, and includes the track-focused Precision Package.
Dressed for the grid
Finished in Midnight Stone Frost with a monochromatic theme echoing the Cadillac F1 livery, the car carries motorsport detailing throughout: a stamped F1 logo on the driver's door, F1 and FIA logos on the spoiler, FIA branding on the carbon-fibre rocker panels, and embossed F1 logos on the headrests.
Why it matters
Cadillac joining F1 is a genuine inflection point for the brand, and tying a 26-car, manual-only, most-powerful-ever Blackwing to that moment is exactly the kind of halo a performance marque should build. For enthusiasts, it's also a reminder that Cadillac's V-Series is quietly one of the best driver's-car stories in America.
Based on Cadillac's official reveal. Production begins later in 2026; pricing (reported around $260,000) and final allocation are subject to Cadillac confirmation.
