Peter Nam founded Gunther Werks in Huntington Beach in 2014, drawing on his background as the founder of Vorsteiner Wheels and a deep interest in the air-cooled 993-generation 911. The company builds exclusively 993-generation cars, committing to a single-vehicle philosophy that prioritizes depth over breadth. Each car is disassembled to bare metal, rebuilt with a full carbon body and an upgraded drivetrain, with production limited to roughly 25 units per year.
