Porsche Mission S revealed: a mid-engined super sports car above the 911
Porsche revealed the Mission S in New York on 15 October 2026. The vision model previews Porsche's next design language and a new mid-engined super sports car platform that will sit above the 911 as a permanent part of the range, not a one-off hypercar. Porsche has not given an engine, power or performance figures.

Porsche presented its 'Sportwagenschmiede '35' strategy on 7 October 2026. It includes a mid-engined super sports car platform above the 911, previewed as the Mission S on 15 October; a Macan-sized petrol and plug-in hybrid SUV in 2028; a possible SUV above the Cayenne; about 20% fewer model variants; and a 67% stake in Manthey.

Order books open on the 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring, if you live in Germany
Order books opened this month on the Porsche 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring, the 100 car market edition Porsche revealed on 14 August 2026 to mark the circuit's hundredth birthday. It is sold in Germany only. White or GT Silver Metallic, a green wrapped front section and rear trim, California Gold forged wheels, a green roll cage and a start number between 0 and 999 on the bonnet, doors and rear window. The Manthey Kit is optional and colour matched. Deliveries run through 2027.

Porsche built 100 manual GT3s for four Alpine countries and nobody else
Porsche announced the 911 GT3 Bergsport on 1 September 2026, a market edition of 100 cars sold only in Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland. It wears Valleygreenmetallic, a green with gold metallic particles created for the car through Paint to Sample Plus, over forged wheels in satin White Gold and Ceramica with orange brake calipers. The Lightweight Package with carbon-fibre bucket seats and the six-speed manual gearbox are part of the specification, along with HD-Matrix LED headlights, front axle lift and the 90-litre fuel tank. It premiered on 3 September at the Arosa ClassicCar hill climb in Switzerland with Jörg Bergmeister driving. Porsche has not published a price.

Someone asked Porsche for a slantnose, and Porsche said yes
Porsche published the Flachbau RS on August 14, 2026, a one-off commission from the Sonderwunsch department built with Manthey on a customer's existing 911 GT2 RS. New wheel arches, a new headlight system and a U-shaped bonnet graphic reference the 935/78. The rear wing sits roughly five centimetres higher and makes 554 kg of downforce on the rear axle in its High Downforce setting at 340 km/h.
