Mercedes-Benz reveals the third-generation GLA: three electric trims up to 657 km WLTP, plus a new M 252 1.5T mild-hybrid ICE for 2027

Mercedes-Benz revealed the third-generation GLA on July 29, 2026. The lineup launches electric-first on the MMA platform with three trims: GLA 200 Electric (224 hp / 58 kWh LFP / up to 447 km WLTP), GLA 250+ Electric (272 hp / 85 kWh NMC / up to 657 km WLTP), and GLA 350 4MATIC Electric (354 hp / 5.4s to 100 km/h). The 85 kWh cars charge at up to 320 kW DC. A third-gen ICE GLA arrives internationally in 2027 on Mercedes-Benz's new M 252 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and an 8F-eDCT dual-clutch transmission, FWD or AWD.
