The story
Novitec has been the go-to name in Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati tuning since 1989, and later added McLaren. From its base in Stetten, Germany, it builds complete performance and styling programmes: higher-boost engine work, valved exhausts, aerodynamic carbon kits and its signature forged wheels. The work is thorough enough that Novitec has become the default aftermarket house for Italian exotics, with a global dealer network and a reputation for big, usable power rather than show-only mods.
The founder
Wolfgang Hagedorn founded Novitec in Stetten in 1989, starting with custom wheels before moving into performance tuning. The company made its name on Ferraris in the 1990s and is still run as a family business, with programmes now spanning Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, McLaren and Rolls-Royce.
